Chris Chakeres

Chris loves spending time in nature both with his students and his family. A lifelong educator and Santa Fe native, Chris has taught in Science, Math, History, and P.E. departments over 25 years, predominantly at Santa Fe Prep. Through experience, he has found that experiential, place-based, project-based learning brings greater purpose and connection to his students’ understanding and involvement in their education. He looks forward to sharing what’s worked for him and learning what has worked for you.
