Ambrose Ferber

Ambrose Ferber landed his first role when he was five, playing The Injured Boy in a Commedia Dell’arte his father wrote. Since then, he has performed on stages throughout the southwest, most recently as the titular role in Cyrano de Bergerac in Fort Collins, Colorado, for Openstage Theatre. In the early 2000s he appeared in Henry IV, Part 1 as The Earl of Douglas, and was first exposed to serious and professional theatrical fight direction. Having caught the bug, he is now an accomplished fight director and has been a fight captain, stunt performer, and fight director on numerous stages and screens. Professional fight direction credits include Cyrano de BergeracLes Miserables, Macbeth, all the Henrys, King Lear, ExtremitiesThe EffectClue, and approximately 276 Romeo and Juliets. He has also appeared in several movies and television shows, usually playing some kind of cop. He currently resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he teaches mostly Technology & Engineering at Santa Fe Prep.
